  •

We always, always, always reach out to our customers to offer assistance and personalized advice. If you just bought one of our repair kits or still planning to do so, please contact us first. If possible, contact us first before you make your purchase so you can be sure which repair kit is best suited for your leather damage and color. Also, you need to know first if your leather or vinyl damage is still repairable. This will help you avoid disappointments and unsatisfactory experience even before trying the product. We always keep in touch with our customers so please make sure that you check all your inboxes, including your spam folder, as some customers claim that they have not received any emails from us. We make sure that we follow up on your repair projects. But please feel free to send us emails and your repair project pictures anytime and we’d be more than happy to help. Our Coconix Support Team and Repair Experts are willing to assist you throughout your repair project!

  • TAKE CLEAR PHOTOS!
  •

Also, one very important step that you have to do before, during and after your repair project is to take clear photos that will show the damage and color of your leather. Before you start your repair project, take clear photos of showing the damages and the color of your leather or vinyl. Please take the photos under natural lighting but not with too much sunlight as the color of the leather might not be the same with the captured one. Also, take photos of the damage on a closer angle to show the extent of the damage. In these ways, we will be able to help you better and give the best, personalized advice we can give for your repair project. During your repair project, you can also take photos of the progress of your repair project. Of course, you will have to send these photos to us so that we can help you improve your repair project and give you further advice on how to make it look better. After you have successfully finished your repair project, you can take photos of the finished repair and upload your before and after repair photos! This would mean a lot to us and will also be very helpful to other customers who would like to see the results our repair kits can give. You did not only show how good-looking your leather or vinyl item is after the repair, but you also helped other DIYers out there!

  • TRY AND PRACTICE!
  •

After we have checked the damage and the color of your leather, you can now try the color matching instructions and repair instructions that we have provided. We always recommend trying a very small amount of color mixture first and applying it on an inconspicuous area so you’ll know if it will give you the results you desire. If you think the color is not right or the applied repair compound does not dry to a texture that you like, please contact us again and we’d be happy to help you improve your repair project. We also have Coconix Repair Resource Center where you will find instructional videos for repairing some types of leather or vinyl damage. We assure you, our customers got amazing results with many different types of repairs, but sometimes it took more than one try.
