“I dropped a metal bar on the floor and ended up with a large ding, see pictures, and was so frustrated with myself. This is in our first home and we built it, so it’s as new as it could possibly be. I’m a perfectionist and couldn’t stand to see the dent in our floor, so I jumped on Amazon and found this laminate repair kit and figured it was worth a shot. Well, I got the product in the mail today and the results speak for themselves. I took a bit of the wood putty, which turned out to be the two part epoxy putty that you knead together to form the filler, and patched the hole. After that I let it dry for 1 hour. I recommend getting the filler as smooth as possible as well as adding grain to it. I used the included spatula to add the grain and then used a damp rag to get the filler smooth, that trick was outlined in the instructions. From there I created a grayish base using the included paints, and then added two lighter lines to go with the texture I added. After that I added a brownish gray to the top and smoothed all of the colors together with the included spatula. The last step was adding a few light areas and once again smooth it all with the spatula. After I did this I used a damp paper towel to take some of the color away and was left with the result in the second picture. Honestly I can’t tell where the patch is and I’m very pleased with this product. It can be a bit tricky to get the color just right, but they include plenty of paint if you do end up making a mistake. Absolutely exceeded my expectations.”

“This product is amazing and the company is even more amazing:-). They have THE best customer service anywhere. They emailed me after I received the product as I wasn't sure how to use it. The instructions are really good; I just wanted to make sure I did the repair correctly. They were so helpful after I sent them a picture of the rip on my chair with how to do the repair. Two layers did the trick! The kit includes a wide variety of colors and the chocolate brown was a perfect match for my chair. I highly recommend this product and the company. You just don't see this kind of customer service these days and it is refreshing!!
